This competition, establishing itself as a key platform for emerging artists in San Sebastián de los Reyes, will allow local solo artists and bands to showcase their work and make a significant leap in their artistic careers. The call is designed to be inclusive, covering various musical styles, from pop and rock to urban genres, reflecting the creative diversity of Sanse's youth.

To ensure the local nature of the festival, solo artists must be registered residents of the municipality. For groups or bands, it is sufficient for at least one member to reside, work, or study in the city. Furthermore, generational renewal is encouraged by requiring that at least 25% of group members be between 14 and 30 years old, thus facilitating the first professional contact for younger musicians with the industry and their local audience.

Participants must submit a single original and unreleased song, without covers of other artists, to highlight their compositional ability. Song duration varies by genre: between 2 and 4 minutes for general styles, and between 5 and 10 minutes for electronic music, adapting to the specific characteristics of each musical language.

The deadline for submitting demos is from April 1st to 30th, and registration is done electronically via the email juventud@ssreyes.org or the City Council's Electronic Headquarters. Files must be submitted in standard digital formats such as MP3, MP4, or WAV. After the deadline, the professional jury will select a maximum of 10 finalists.

The jury's decision will be announced on May 18th, and the finalists will perform in a concert at the Auditorio del Centro Joven Sanse on June 20th. The winner of the Music Festival 2026 will receive a cash prize of 250 euros, but the greatest incentive is the opportunity to perform during the Fiestas in Honor of the Santísimo Cristo de los Remedios, a highly visible event at a national level.
