The alliance between the Móstoles City Council and Fundación AMÁS has achieved a 65% employment rate for people with disabilities thanks to the AMÁS Café project, located in the Centro Cultural Villa de Móstoles.

The mayor of Móstoles, Manuel Bautista, met with representatives of Fundación AMÁS to evaluate the results of the inclusive café project AMÁS Café, which combines specialized training and real professional experience to facilitate labor market access for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The project, launched in October 2025, has trained 15 individuals with intellectual disabilities as baristas, waiter assistants, and kitchen assistants, also developing autonomy and customer service skills. The initiative has established contacts with 16 companies to promote employability.
Bautista highlighted the importance of collaboration between administrations and social entities to generate real inclusion opportunities. "In Móstoles, we are concerned with the inclusion of people with disabilities and we want to take this model further, generating new training and employment opportunities in our city," stated the mayor.
The municipal government, through Móstoles Desarrollo, aims to expand this collaboration model with social entities and companies to further promote the integration of people with disabilities into the labor market.
