The City Council of Leganés is organizing the job fair “LEGAEMPLE@” this Tuesday, October 27, and Wednesday, October 28, bringing together 50 companies and entities to offer job opportunities and conduct live selection processes.

This initiative, revived by the Governing Team in November 2024 after a decade-long hiatus, aims to connect residents with employment prospects, with a particular focus on young people, women, and individuals over 45, as well as other groups facing employment insertion challenges.
The event will take place at the Centro de Formación 1º de Mayo (C/ Química, number 1) over two seven-hour days. It will feature an exhibition space with 50 stands, in addition to an institutional stand from the Leganés City Council.
New this year, the Spanish Army, the Navy, the National Police, the Local Police of Leganés, and Civil Protection will participate, presenting their professional opportunities and showcasing their work to the public.
The program will combine job offers with direct interviews, workshops, and informational sessions on job searching, skills enhancement, coaching, and innovation. There will also be sessions on the services of the Network of Employment Offices of the Community of Madrid and artificial intelligence tools for job searching.
Attendees can participate in a job interview activity using virtual reality glasses, organized in collaboration with the COE and with technical support from Madrid Digital. The Local Police of Leganés will also conduct demonstrations of their police drone.
The fair will have a dedicated mobile-friendly website for information, activity schedules, participating companies, job listings, and registration via QR codes.
