These investments, approved in the latest Governing Board meeting, focus on improving infrastructure and materials in nursery schools, the music school, sports facilities, and senior centers, as well as strengthening security and rehabilitating neighborhoods. Mayor Miguel Ángel Recuenco has described these budgets as embodying "transformation and future".
The Councilor for Finance, María Estévez, detailed that, in addition to investments already underway from the 2025 Budget, funding has been secured to begin tendering new projects included in the 2026 budget, which was approved in June after a vote of confidence.

Regarding Citizen Security, nearly one million euros will be allocated to acquiring new materials and renewing furniture for the Local Police and Civil Protection, including technological equipment for drug detection, defibrillators, ambulance monitors, emergency vehicles, and satellite phones.

The Department of Environment will invest two million euros in renewing furniture and children's play equipment in parks and gardens, another two million for the remodeling of ornamental fountains in green areas, and one million for the acquisition of trucks for solid urban waste collection.

The total funding of 31,264,850 euros has been secured through three loans: one of 11,264,850 euros from Banco Sabadell, and two credits of 10,000,000 euros each from Caja Rural de Jaén, Barcelona y Madrid, and Caja Rural de Granada.
