The Dos de Mayo Municipal Library in San Martín de la Vega welcomes a new edition of "Story Fridays", a cultural offering that has established itself over the past year as a favorite among children and families.
Every Friday, starting at 5:30 PM, the library will transform into a space to discover stories and characters, sparking the imagination of the youngest ones and providing family leisure time centered around books.
The City Council of San Martín de la Vega, through the Department of Culture, reinforces its commitment to promoting reading from an early age, making the library an active and participatory cultural hub.
The program will feature activities adapted for different age groups, from baby storytelling for children aged 6 months to 3 years to storytelling and science workshops for those over 3 and 5 years old.
Additionally, there will be encounters with authors, such as Amaia del Campo, and activities related to the Community of Madrid Book Fair, science, and the environment. Notably, "The Enchanted Library", a special overnight camp for Halloween and Christmas, is planned.
The new season kicks off on Friday, September 25th, with "A World of Magic", a Story Time session that will launch a program running until December.
The full program includes events such as "The Colors of the World" (October 2nd), "The World Upside Down" (October 9th), "Cyclops and Princesses" with Amaia del Campo (October 16th), "A True Witch" (October 30th), "Scientific Stars" (November 6th), "The Water Cycle" (November 20th), and various Christmas sessions.
