The EFESO Program, funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), starts its second edition of the sociosanitary care training itinerary in Getafe, aiming to enhance the employability of vulnerable groups.

The Local Employment and Training Agency (ALEF) of Getafe has launched the second edition of the sociosanitary care training itinerary, as part of the EFESO Program (Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Social Economy). This initiative, funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), is specifically designed for vulnerable groups within the municipality, with the goal of boosting their employability and facilitating labor market inclusion.
This program will offer 15 participants the opportunity to train in a sector with high employment demand. Upon completion, they will be able to obtain the professional certificate of “Sociosanitary Care for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions (SSCS0208)”, an essential requirement to practice the profession.
The training will be delivered in person at the ALEF Getafe headquarters, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The complete itinerary comprises 519 hours, including theoretical training, tutorials, guidance, and company internships.
The program is aimed at individuals registered as residents in Getafe and who are unemployed, registered as job seekers with public employment services. Priority will be given to vulnerable groups, such as individuals over 45 years old, women, low-skilled youth, and those not receiving any benefits or subsidies and lacking income.
The registration period is now open. Interested individuals can visit the ALEF headquarters directly or send their application and registration form to the email address: informacion@alefgetafe.org.
The EFESO Program is part of a national strategy funded by the ESF+, which promotes training and employment projects in local entities to foster a more inclusive society and improve job opportunities. In Getafe, this funding will allow for the reinforcement of labor insertion resources and the development of training actions tailored to the real needs of the job market.
Through this initiative, ALEF Getafe continues to consolidate its role as a benchmark in promoting local employment and training, connecting talent with business opportunities. For further information, interested parties can contact via email or by phone at 91 665 44 00.
