Worker Dies in Leganés After 10-Meter Fatal Fall

A 54-year-old worker died this Saturday after falling from a roof on Trueno street in Leganés while carrying out repair work.

A 54-year-old operator lost his life this Saturday in Leganés after suffering a fall from an approximate height of 10 meters. The incident occurred while the man was engaged in repair work on the roof of a building located on Trueno street.
Emergency medical services from SUMMA 112 were quickly dispatched to the accident site but unfortunately could only confirm the worker's death. The investigation into the exact causes of the accident has been taken over by the National Police.
Firefighters from the Community of Madrid also responded to the scene. They had to force entry into the building to facilitate access and collaborate with both the medical teams and the officers from the Local Police and National Police present in the area.
