In a recent interview, the VOX councilor in Alcorcón, Pedro Moreno, reviewed the current affairs of the municipality, highlighting his political activity and his party's proposals. The councilor focused on what he considers a widespread neglect of the city, pointing out deficiencies in infrastructure, gardens, and sports facilities.
Moreno illustrated this situation with the condition of the football fields and the athletics track in Santo Domingo, which, according to his statements, are not in adequate condition. His constant presence in the neighborhoods aims to directly denounce these problems.
“"Milei's chainsaw will fall short when we govern Alcorcón."
One of the most personal aspects of the conversation was the denunciation of the lack of inclusive spaces in Alcorcón. The councilor, father of a child with a disability, lamented the absence of truly adapted parks, advocating for equal access for all families and the importance of fostering inclusion from childhood.
Regarding security, the VOX spokesperson described squatting as a widespread problem in the municipality, affecting various neighborhoods. He criticized the institutional response, considering it late and insufficient, and recounted situations that, he explained, generate concern among residents.
Finally, Moreno addressed the growing support among young voters, attributing it to many of them experiencing the municipality's problems firsthand and seeking alternatives to traditional parties. As a future proposal, he suggested an audit of the City Council to review the use of public resources and reorient spending towards basic services and neighborhood needs, eliminating what he considers unnecessary expenditures.
