This incident adds to another recent robbery in the commercial area of Parque Oeste, specifically at an electronics store, Media Markt. According to reports from Telemadrid, that first incident was a 'crash-and-grab' carried out in the early hours of Monday.

The thieves entered with fire extinguishers, and proceeded to empty them on the customers, although it also fell on the food, causing more damage.

Authorities, including the National Police, are investigating both robberies. It has been reported that the two vehicles, both Audi brand (including a Q7), used in the assault on the electronics store have already been identified.
