The Pinto City Council has announced a competition aimed at residents to select the design for the upcoming Patron Saint Festival poster, which will take place in August in honor of Nuestra Señora la Virgen de la Asunción.

The municipality's Department of Culture is promoting this initiative so that citizens themselves can provide the image for the festivities. Submissions will be accepted until June 30th at the Casa de la Cadena.
Individuals or groups who are adult residents and meet the requirements can participate. The central theme of the poster must be linked to the Pinto Patron Saint Festival, reflecting the spirit and tradition of these celebrations.
Submitted posters must be original and unpublished, in a vertical format of 50 x 70 cm. Any artistic technique will be accepted, such as drawing, painting, photography, or digital design, provided it ensures its print reproduction. It is essential that they include the texts ‘Fiestas Patronales’ and ‘Pinto 2026’.

"The winning design will serve to illustrate the image of the August Festival, and its creator will also receive a prize of 500 euros, so I encourage everyone to participate and unleash their creativity."

Víctor Alonso · Councilor of Culture of Pinto
In addition to the monetary prize for the selected design, an exhibition featuring all submitted works by participants will be organized at the Casa de la Cadena.
