The Pinto City Council, in collaboration with the Club Running Pinto, once again organized this traditional sporting event, now in its 35th season. The initiative aims to promote sports and coexistence among the town's youth.
Students from various educational centers, including Las Artes, Europa, El Prado, Buenos Aires, Calasanz, Sagrada Familia, Isabel La Católica, Mirasur, Nuestra Señora de La Providencia, Dos de Mayo, and Santo Domingo de Silos, competed in events such as ball throwing, long jump, sprint, endurance race, and javelin throw.
The day concluded with an exciting relay race, in an atmosphere of genuine sporting celebration. The event's organization was made possible through close collaboration with the physical education teachers from the participating schools.
To foster interaction between schools and co-education, students were organized into teams identified by five colors: red, blue, yellow, green, and orange. This dynamic allowed for rotation through different activities throughout the morning, resulting in an intense session of education, participation, and sports competition.
The competitions took place over two separate days: the first for 5th-grade students and the second for 6th-grade students. On both days, activities began at 10:00 AM, with each event lasting half an hour. Admission for the public was free, allowing family and friends to enjoy the sporting spectacle.
