Alcorcón's water parks have opened early due to an unusual rise in temperatures, offering residents a free and refreshing leisure option.

Given the notable increase in temperatures over recent days, ESMASA has decided to activate the municipal water facilities ahead of schedule. The town's three water parks, located at Parque de Los Castillos, Polideportivo Los Cantos, and Parque Darwin, are now operational and offer free access to the city's children.
Currently, the parks are open from Monday to Friday in the afternoon, between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. On weekends, the hours are extended, being available both in the morning, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and in the afternoon, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

"Even though summer hasn't officially started, we are experiencing very high temperatures in southern Madrid and many other parts of Spain. That's why, at ESMASA, we have taken action and moved up the opening of the water parks, so that our children and not-so-young ones can cool off in a fun, safe, and free way."

These spaces are equipped with interactive fountains and water games, designed for the enjoyment and refreshment of the youngest visitors outdoors. The areas also feature shaded spots, benches, tables, and pergolas, aiming to provide comfort for families during hot days. This service, highly requested by residents, is now available after numerous petitions.
