The special operation, aimed at keeping the city in optimal condition for the influx of visitors, expands the usual staff of 92 workers with an additional 26 personnel. The deployment will be distributed across morning, afternoon, and night shifts, supported by various material resources such as collection trucks, street washing vehicles, high-pressure cleaners, and sweepers.
Special attention will be given to areas designated for festive events, including the fairgrounds, Plaza de Los Belgas, Carpa Joven, Plaza de la Estación, Calle Real, Cordel de Valladolid, and parks such as Aromas, Ambulatorio, and Pinar de las Eras. A specific service will be implemented for the distribution and collection of containers among fair vendors, local groups, and hospitality establishments.
As a novelty, four electric blowers are being incorporated this year to reduce early morning noise. The frequency of container collection and street washing will be increased in high-traffic areas, with special care for the lawns.
“"With this special operation, a significant increase in public resources is put at the service of the city and all its residents during days when Collado Villalba receives numerous visitors, ensuring that all spaces are in perfect condition after the development of the different events."
The Councilor for Urbanism and Environment, Adan Martínez, highlighted the importance of this reinforcement to present a good image of the city during the festivities, which attract many visitors.
