Panadería Chulis has closed its doors in Alcorcón between December and January, barely six months after its inauguration in June 2025, adding to the difficult situation facing local businesses.

The establishment, located on Navalcarnero street, near the Alcorcón Central station, ceases its activity after a brief period characterized by its innovative offerings of focaccia, pastries, cheesecakes, and signature drinks.
Cristina Luengo and her husband, who managed the business, explained that they aimed to provide a personal and creative service to residents, innovating month by month. However, the challenging economic circumstances for local commerce have forced the permanent closure.
This closure joins that of other establishments that have faced similar difficulties recently, reflecting a challenging period for the hospitality and retail sector in the area.
