The Móstoles City Council has completed the remodeling of a 1,700-square-meter area at the intersection of Avenida de la ONU and Nicaragua Street, transforming a former dirt path into a more accessible and functional environment for residents.

The works, covering an approximate area of 1,700 square meters, have been overseen by municipal representatives. The main action involved paving a previously unpaved area to improve pedestrian mobility and facilitate the daily transit of residents through this part of the municipality.
This intervention aims to eliminate uneven surfaces and make public spaces more usable, especially for the elderly, families with strollers, and residents with reduced mobility.

"The objective is to create more accessible, safe, and functional public spaces that contribute to improving the daily lives of Móstoles residents."

The remodeling also included the installation of a fountain adapted for both people and pets, a thoughtful improvement designed to serve those walking in the area and pet owners. Additionally, a dedicated dog park, known as a pipican, has been created, covering an area of about 500 square meters. This new space will help concentrate dog use in a specific area, contributing to better street cleanliness in the vicinity.
The City Council emphasizes that these types of actions are part of the maintenance and improvement works being carried out in various districts of the city, with the goal of offering citizens higher quality public spaces.
