The municipality of Móstoles is advancing in the improvement of its sports infrastructure with the construction of a new multipurpose pavilion on Nueva York street, which will expand the offerings for local clubs and athletes.

The future facility, situated at the intersection with Ginebra street, is conceived as a modern, multipurpose, and inclusive space, representing a significant boost for sports practice in the city and aligning with the municipal strategy to optimize public facilities.
This sports complex will exceed 4,450 square meters of built area and will have a seating capacity for 446 spectators, including a reserved area for authorities during competitions and events. The City Council has moved forward with administrative procedures, consolidating this project as a strategic initiative for the municipality's sporting future.
Designed to host various sports, the pavilion will be suitable for basketball, handball, volleyball, and futsal. It will also feature a mini-basketball court and a multipurpose area, allowing it to serve both local clubs and official competitions and municipal programs.
The facilities will include essential services such as a physiotherapy area, infirmary, anti-doping room, changing rooms, and specific areas for referees and judges. A key aspect of the project is the complete adaptation for the practice of wheelchair sports, ensuring universal accessibility to the venue.
This initiative is part of a broader plan to modernize sports infrastructure in Móstoles, adding to other projects such as the renovation of the Andrés Torrejón sports complex and the construction of football-7 pitches in PAU-4, with the aim of increasing sports facilities for residents and sports clubs.
