The Móstoles City Council has announced plans for a new fire station located outside the city center to improve operational capacity and emergency response times.

The new facility, to be built on land owned by the local government, aims to strengthen safety coverage in Móstoles and the municipalities along the A-5 highway in the southwest of the Comunidad de Madrid.
The project follows an institutional meeting held at the Madrid 112 Security and Emergency Agency (ASEM112). Local and regional authorities agreed to promote these facilities to meet the current needs of the region.
The choice of a peripheral location is based on mobility criteria. Municipal sources indicated that this site will ensure smoother road connections and facilitate the rapid deployment of emergency vehicles, avoiding traffic congestion in the urban core.
