The Móstoles City Council is organizing the second edition of its active aging events, taking place from May 25 to 30 with free access for the municipality's seniors.

The initiative, promoted by the Department of Contracting, Seniors, and Social Welfare in collaboration with other municipal departments, will offer a varied program including environmental workshops, dance activities, cultural proposals, sports events, and an Intergenerational March to conclude the program.
Activities will begin on Monday, May 25, with environmental workshops at the El Soto Natural Park and Finca Liana Park. On Tuesday, May 26, the Just Dance Workshop will be held at the Citizen Participation Center, while on Wednesday, May 27, there will be a Dance Challenge in the Plaza del Pradillo and proposals for physical and mental well-being and a show at the Villa de Móstoles Cultural Center.
The sports day on Friday, May 29, will take place at Finca Liana Park, offering a table tennis tournament, functional recovery exercises, and yoga, pilates, and tai chi sessions. The program will conclude on Saturday, May 30, with an Intergenerational March, musical entertainment, and a zumba session, also at Finca Liana Park.
Additionally, on May 26, a cultural excursion to Pueblos Negros and Cogolludo will take place. The mayor of Móstoles, Manuel Bautista, has highlighted the importance of these activities and the continuous offerings at municipal centers to promote active aging throughout the year.
Registration for activities can be completed until May 25 at the Municipal Senior Centers, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Móstoles currently has several Municipal Senior Centers, and a new one will soon open in the North-University District 2.
