Crime drops by 3.5% in Valdemoro in the first quarter

Valdemoro has seen a 3.5% decrease in total crime during the first quarter of 2026, according to data from the Ministry of the Interior.

The municipality of Valdemoro has registered a significant 3.5% reduction in total crime during the first quarter of 2026, compared to the same period last year. This decrease contrasts with the slight 1% increase observed across Spain as a whole.
Conventional crime, in particular, has shown a very positive trend, with a 7.4% decrease. Offenses in this category have fallen from 753 to 697, an improvement that gains greater relevance by going against the national trend.
Among the most notable figures is the drastic 34% reduction in robberies with force in homes, establishments, and other facilities, which have decreased from 32 to 21 cases. Robberies with force in residences have fallen by 21%. Furthermore, petty thefts (-1.1%) and other conventional crimes (-11.7%) have also been reduced.
The crime report for this period recorded no completed homicides, attempted homicides, or kidnappings within the municipality.
