The mayor of Getafe, Sara Hernández (PSOE), has unveiled an innovative proposal for the upcoming patron saint festivities in May, which will include a 'Day of Sorrows' and a Yellow Humor Grand Prix featuring skill challenges.

These new activities are designed to offer entertainment and fun to the local community groups. The Grand Prix event will focus on challenges of skill and humor, promising to be one of the main attractions of the festivities.
For these initiatives, the Ciudad de los Niños (Children's City) will be specially prepared. This large park features a lagoon and various children's areas, conveniently located next to the bullring and adjacent to the Juan de la Cierva fairgrounds, ensuring easy access for all attendees.
