The municipality's House for Seniors organizes this initiative to offer leisure, culture, and healthy tourism options to its older residents. The increase in spots is a response to the success and positive feedback from previous editions, adapting to various circumstances and offering more travel options and durations.
This new season offers 450 spots across six different destinations, with trip durations of 2, 4, and 7 days. Destinations include sites of great cultural and natural value such as Navarra, Palencia's Romanesque art, Salamanca, Extremadura, and coastal areas like Almería and Galicia. All trips include a comprehensive program of excursions and activities.
Pre-registrations, limited to one per person, can be submitted from September 23rd to 25th at the Municipal House for Seniors, between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The public draw for the spots will take place on September 30th.
The trips include bus transportation from Getafe to the destination and back, transfers for excursions and cultural visits, hotel accommodation, and for cultural trips, entrance fees to museums and monuments.
Eligible participants are residents registered in Getafe who are over 65 years old, or Social Security pensioners, retirees, or pre-retirees aged 55 and over who have not participated in the previous Spring 2026 Offer trip.
