The Fuenlabrada University Hospital has opened its doors to Secondary Education students from 22 educational centers, offering them a first contact with various professions in the healthcare sector.

This initiative is part of the 4º ESO+ Empresa Program, promoted by the Community of Madrid, which seeks to bring the world of work closer to young people. In recent weeks, students have had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the functioning of a hospital.
The eleventh edition of this program at the Fuenlabrada University Hospital has involved 27 participants, divided into two periods during March and April. The interest in this experience has been notable, with 427 applications received by the hospital's Teaching department.
The selected students have rotated through various areas, including Pediatrics, Hospital Pharmacy, Cardiology, Intensive Medicine, Radiodiagnosis, Radiotherapy, Endocrinology Section, Surgical Area, Resuscitation Unit, Clinical Analysis and Pathological Anatomy laboratories, Clinical Psychology, Physiotherapy, and different Nursing Units.

"This program stimulates the teaching-learning process by allowing us to share part of our professional experience with young people."
