This initiative is part of the 4º ESO+ Empresa Program, promoted by the Community of Madrid, which seeks to bring the world of work closer to young people. In recent weeks, students have had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the functioning of a hospital.
The eleventh edition of this program at the Fuenlabrada University Hospital has involved 27 participants, divided into two periods during March and April. The interest in this experience has been notable, with 427 applications received by the hospital's Teaching department.
The selected students have rotated through various areas, including Pediatrics, Hospital Pharmacy, Cardiology, Intensive Medicine, Radiodiagnosis, Radiotherapy, Endocrinology Section, Surgical Area, Resuscitation Unit, Clinical Analysis and Pathological Anatomy laboratories, Clinical Psychology, Physiotherapy, and different Nursing Units.

The 4º ESO+ Empresa Program is a voluntary educational project of the Community of Madrid that facilitates stays in companies and institutions. Its objective is to prepare young people to make informed decisions about their academic and professional future, allowing them to immerse themselves in a complex adult work environment, with access to advanced technology and unique facilities.
