The city of Fuenlabrada is hosting the fifth edition of the 'FuenlaSocial' forum, a two-day event addressing the crucial role of artificial intelligence and data analysis in improving dependency care services and support for the elderly.

The forum, held at the Loranca-Nuevo Versalles-Parque Miraflores District Board Auditorium, brings together experts from various institutions and companies to discuss how digital transformation is redefining care. The inauguration was attended by representatives from the City Council, the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function, and the UNED.

During the sessions, the forum will examine how public policies are driving a real evolution in the care system, utilizing artificial intelligence and advanced data analysis to better identify needs, personalize support, and optimize service efficiency. It will also present the main technological trends applied to social services, including new tools for telecare, accessibility, and digital support environments, as well as innovative proposals for in-home intervention.
The event also dedicates space to best practices in social intervention and research, featuring the exhibition and award ceremony for selected initiatives. Additionally, the forum includes an exhibition area open to the public where companies and entities showcase technological solutions designed to improve the quality of life and well-being of the elderly and dependent.
Complementary activities include technological demonstrations, citizen participation proposals, and a guided tour of the Fuenlabrada Urban Art Museum. The city of Fuenlabrada thus reaffirms its commitment to innovation in care for dependent individuals, integrating technology into these services, as evidenced by its 12 robots and other digital tools already in use.
