The Fuenlabrada City Council has finalized the award of four urban plots in the El Bañuelo industrial park, an operation valued at 3.2 million euros, aimed at attracting new business investments and boosting the local economy.

These publicly owned plots cover a total area of 18,000 square meters of productive land. They are fully urbanized and equipped with all necessary services for their operation, thus facilitating the rapid establishment of new economic activities in the area.

"This award allows us to boost economic activity, facilitating the arrival of new investments in Fuenlabrada, a city that is already a pole of attraction in the region."

Mónica Sebastián · Councillor for Urban Planning
The sale of these lands follows the commercialization of four other plots just over a year ago for four million euros. In total, the eight industrial plots in El Bañuelo are part of a process to commercialize a dozen land parcels, totaling nearly 52,000 square meters of industrial and tertiary land ready to host businesses.
In the awarding process, the City Council prioritizes the amount of private investment planned and the potential for job creation. Additionally, the implementation of sustainable and environmentally friendly activities is positively valued, aligning with the city's urban development policies.
Fuenlabrada has proven to be a point of interest for large corporations in recent years, attracting companies such as Madrid One (the largest data center in Spain), logistics firm VGP, the industrial cold logistics center Logifrio, the Railway Logistics Terminal, the aluminum treatment plant La Estrella, and the Distrito F shopping center (formerly Nexum).
