A fire in a restaurant at the TresAguas shopping center in Alcorcón led to the evacuation of the premises last Sunday, with five people affected by smoke inhalation who were discharged on site.

The incident occurred around 2:45 PM on Sunday, when a fire broke out inside one of the restaurant establishments in the shopping center. After the alarm was raised, a precautionary evacuation of all facilities was carried out.
Three units of Alcorcón Firefighters were dispatched to the scene, managing to extinguish the flames approximately at 4:00 PM. Their swift intervention was crucial in preventing the fire from spreading to other commercial premises, allowing the shopping center's activity to resume later in the afternoon.
Medical teams attended to five people who suffered from smoke inhalation: four employees and one customer from the restaurant where the fire originated. All of them were discharged at the scene, without needing transfer to a hospital.
Coincidentally, this incident took place shortly after the shopping center hosted the start of the XXXV Alcorcón Firefighters Memorial, an event that pays tribute to two municipal firefighters who died in the line of duty.
