A fire at a dealership in Leganés' Ciudad del Automóvil during the early morning of April 28 affected several plug-in hybrid vehicles, with Madrid Community Firefighters extinguishing the blaze without any reported injuries.

The incident took place on Carlos Sainz Street, within Leganés' Ciudad del Automóvil, where flames engulfed three plug-in hybrid cars. The alert was received around 2 AM, prompting the deployment of seven units from the Madrid Community Fire Department.
The swift response of emergency teams was crucial in extinguishing the fire and preventing it from spreading to other vehicles at the dealership. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, although SUMMA medical personnel remained on standby at the scene.
As of now, the causes that originated the fire in the vehicles remain under investigation, with no specific reasons for the incident having been determined.
