The exhibition, which can be visited until July 28th, features a collection of objects sourced from vehicle scrapyards that have been artistically intervened. These pieces are complemented by pictorial or photographic images, creating a dialogue between the material and the visual.
The exhibition is the work of Jesús Vázquez Rodríguez, who explores the connection between physical elements recovered from scrapyards and the visual representations that evoke or describe them. The compositions combine fragments of industrial origin with various image formats, establishing a link between the materials and their artistic expression.
Vázquez Rodríguez invites reflection on the relationship between objects and human existence, addressing themes such as transcendence, decay, death, and the presence of the everyday in art. The author, an industrial technician as well as a visual artist, uses industrial materials as a basis for his creations, seeking new interpretations of their meaning and use.
'Scrapyard Panorama' exhibition follows this conceptual line, exploring the visual connections between industrial forms and contemporary artistic creations.
