The Directorate-General for Traffic has scheduled a series of roadworks on the A-5 and M-50 highways that will impact travel for Alcorcón residents throughout the summer season.

Maintenance and rehabilitation projects will take place during July and August, taking advantage of lower traffic volumes. These operations will result in lane closures, narrowed roadways, and temporary diversions at key points along the road network connecting the municipality to the capital and other regional areas.
On the A-5, restrictions are set to begin in early July, affecting several sections with lane closures. Meanwhile, the M-50 will undergo works between kilometers 17 and 45.9 until late August, including nightly closures on the stretch between the M-45 and the A-2 during the second half of the month.
Simultaneously, improvements continue on the Eje Culebro, involving pavement renewal and updated signage. Authorities advise drivers to check road conditions before starting their journeys and to plan alternative routes to mitigate the impact of potential traffic congestion.
