CD Leganés has lent the Estadio Ontime Butarque to Rayo Vallecano for them to play their first home league match of the season on August 20 against Deportivo Alavés.

The 'franjirrojo' team is currently without its own stadium after the Comunidad de Madrid suspended the concession of the Vallecas stadium in late July due to serious safety deficiencies detected.
The loan of the Leganés stadium comes after an agreement between both clubs and in coordination with the Comunidad de Madrid, ensuring minimal safety conditions for fans and the 'pepinero' club.
This is not the first time Rayo Vallecano has used the Estadio Ontime Butarque, as they played a derby against Atlético de Madrid there last season due to the poor condition of their home pitch.
CD Leganés has announced that it will allocate part of the revenue generated from this match to an initiative that benefits the club's fans, who consider the Estadio Ontime Butarque as their home.
Rayo Vallecano will begin their league participation on August 15 away against Sevilla FC.
