The El Bicho-Plataforma Central Iberum cycling team has achieved a weekend of success, culminating in the overall victory at the III Cinturón de La Mancha-GP Ciudad Real thanks to Rubén García and a stage win for Mario Anguela.

Rubén García's victory in the Castilian-La Mancha event marks a milestone for the Fuenlabrada-based team, representing their first-ever overall stage race classification. The competition, spanning three days, saw García perform strongly from the first stage, joining a breakaway and demonstrating his power.
During Saturday's uphill time trial to La Atalaya, the team maintained a high level. Rubén García and Alejandro Paredes delivered a solid performance against the clock, positioning García in fourth place overall before the final stage. The team's strategy proved crucial on the last day, successfully placing four riders in a decisive breakaway.
Mario Anguela claimed the stage victory in a sprint from the leading group, while Rubén García secured the overall win of the Cinturón de La Mancha. García also earned the jerseys for best local rider and top under-23 competitor. Mario García completed the team's strong showing by winning the mountain classification on the third stage.
Concurrently, on Saturday, the Gran Premio Ciclista Ayuntamiento de El Escorial took place, hosting the Madrid U23 Championship. Víctor García emerged as the Madrid U23 champion and was recognized as the most combative rider. The team's dominance in the U23 category was further solidified by Mario Anguela (third overall and second U23) and Hugo Pradas (third in the regional U23 podium).
El Bicho-Plataforma Central Iberum also secured the team classification at El Escorial, reinforcing their lead in the Copa de Madrid, both in Víctor García's individual standings and the overall team rankings.
