Renting a home in Alcorcón has become progressively more expensive. According to Idealista data from July 2026, the average cost per square meter has reached 14.7 euros. This figure represents a 0.8% increase from the previous month, confirming the upward pressure on the local market.
The upward trend persists when looking at broader timeframes. Compared to April, rental prices have risen by 2.1%. The year-on-year change is even more pronounced, with a 4.7% increase. This means renting a property in Alcorcón is currently almost 5% more expensive than a year ago, amidst a general rise in housing costs for rentals.
Price evolution is not uniform across the municipality. The Centro district records a price higher than the municipal average, standing at 15.7 euros per square meter. This district has seen a 0.9% growth in the last month, accumulating a quarterly increase of 3.2% and a year-on-year rise of 5.6%.
Despite variations between neighborhoods, the current price across Alcorcón (14.7 €/m²) remains slightly below the historical peak reached in October 2025 (15 €/m²). However, recent trends suggest a return towards those levels, particularly in the Centro district, which already hit its historical maximum in July at 15.7 euros per square meter. These figures highlight the clearly upward trajectory of the rental market in the locality.
