Driver Dies After Crashing into Toll Booths on R-5 Near Leganés

The incident occurred early Monday morning at kilometer 4 of the R-5, where a man between 20 and 30 years old lost his life.

A driver between 20 and 30 years old died early Monday morning following a serious accident on the R-5 near Leganés, after colliding with toll booths.

The incident took place at kilometer 4 of the R-5, within the municipality of Leganés. The victim, a male between 20 and 30 years old, was ejected from his car as a result of the strong impact.
Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid services responded to the accident scene but were unfortunately unable to perform resuscitation maneuvers to save his life. The SUMMA 112 team confirmed the death.
Guardia Civil officers also attended the scene. After receiving the alert around 2:30 AM, they have launched an investigation to determine the exact causes of the accident and clarify the events.
