The C-3 commuter line in Madrid will undergo service modifications over the next three weekends due to improvement works, affecting the section between Getafe Industrial and Valdemoro.

The regular service of the C-3 Line of Madrid Commuter Rail, connecting Aranjuez with Atocha, Sol, and Chamartín, will be affected during the next three weekends. Disruptions will occur between the stations of Getafe Industrial and Valdemoro, and Parla station will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 PM onwards.
These modifications, scheduled for June 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, and 28, mean that trains will not run between Getafe Industrial, Pinto, and Valdemoro from 11:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays until the end of service. Trains originating from Aranjuez will terminate their journey in Valdemoro, while those from Madrid will end in Getafe Industrial. Pinto station will also experience nighttime closures, preventing stops and transit for the last trains of the day.
Renfe has arranged an alternative bus transport service, clearly signposted, to cover the route between these three affected stations. Station staff has been increased to assist passengers, and it is recommended to consult official sources such as www.renfe.com or the X account @CercaniasMadrid for further details.
These improvement works, carried out by Adif, will focus on the overhead power line (catenary) at Pinto station. The installation of new components aims to enhance the reliability of the facilities and facilitate future maintenance.
