The project, promoted by the Department of Education and Social Services, aims to offer the municipality's children a protected space for integral development, creativity, and socialization, while facilitating family work-life balance. The activity will begin on January 8.
Various areas will be set up in the participating schools, including a sports area with varied equipment, play zones with hoops and ropes, a reading corner, and an artistic expression space. All activities will be supervised by two educators to ensure safety.
The program will run from Monday to Thursday in two daily sessions: from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Each session will have 20 fixed spots and 10 open spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registered children can access any of the open schools that day, with priority given to those with fixed spots.
Families interested in enrolling their children must complete a form available on the municipal website or via QR code, and send it to educadorsocial@ayto-ciempozuelos.org before December 14. Spot confirmations will be communicated between December 15 and 17.
“"This project will allow both students from participating educational centers and other children from the municipality enrolled in different schools to benefit from a resource that promotes healthy leisure, coexistence, and the use of sports facilities in a protected environment."
The Councillor for Social Services, Education, Non-regulated Education, and Equality, Rosa Revuelta, highlighted the importance of this initiative for the well-being and integral development of the children of Ciempozuelos, inviting families to participate.
