The Aranjuez City Council has put out to tender a contract for the leasing of 7 vehicles for the Local Police, with an estimated value of €558,000 and a duration of 4 years.
The deadline for obtaining tender documents and submitting offers is September 26th at 11:59 PM. The State Contracting Platform has published the details of this new tender, which aims to supply, through leasing, 7 marked vehicles: 4 equipped with a kit for detainees and 3 without.
The need for this acquisition is justified by the lack of current resources, the imminent expiry of the existing leasing contract, the search for more efficient technology such as hybrid vehicles, and the enhancement of agent safety with updated police equipment due to increased crime rates and interventions.
The leasing contract will have a duration of 48 months from the delivery of the vehicles, which must be supplied to the Local Police Base, located at Calle del Príncipe 40, within a maximum of 90 calendar days after the contract is signed.
According to the market study, the indicative monthly lease payments (VAT included) are: €1,575.00 for the 3 vehicles without a kit (total €226,800.00) and €1,725.00 for the 4 vehicles with a kit (total €331,200.00), adding up to a total of €11,625.00/month and €558,000.00 over 48 months.
These prices include approved equipment such as a detainee kit, light bar, micro-prismatic signage, public address system and siren, as well as comprehensive insurance with no excess, unlimited tires, a replacement vehicle within 48 hours, and BR4 ballistic protection on the front doors.
