The Fiestas Delegation of the Aranjuez City Council has approved the contracting process for the renowned band La Pegatina to be part of the 2026 Motín Festivals program. The aim is to offer a top-tier live performance within the national music scene.
The performance is scheduled for Friday, September 4, at 11:00 PM, although the exact venue is yet to be determined. With over two decades of experience, La Pegatina has established itself as a benchmark for Spanish festive music, blending rumba, ska, reggae, and Latin rhythms in their concerts.
The band is known for its stage energy, connection with the audience, and a repertoire of popular songs that guarantee participatory shows. This has made them one of the most sought-after acts at festivals and popular events across Spain.
The estimated contract value for the performance amounts to 70,000 euros, excluding indirect taxes. The municipal government continues to advance in the preparation of the 2026 Motín Festivals, declared of International Tourist Interest, aiming to attract visitors and boost the local economy with a quality cultural offering.
