The Community of Madrid will host the Alcorcón Festivities from September 3rd to 13th, presenting an extensive program featuring free concerts, cultural shows, family-friendly activities, sports events, and programming distributed across the city's various neighborhoods. Mayor Candelaria Testa highlighted the involvement of neighborhood associations and the social fabric in the organization.
Among this year's novelties are a drone show scheduled for the 12th and open house days at Soho City, a new cultural hub that will allow citizens to tour its facilities before its official launch in December. Artist Zenit expressed pride in participating in an event celebrating the municipality's values, particularly for the urban music event on September 10th.

Music will be a central theme with free concerts and open access at the Paco de Lucía Auditorium. The music lineup, starting September 3rd, will blend renowned artists, diverse styles, and local musical talent. Performers will include Los 40 Urban, Jalea, Kiko Veneno, La Cabra Mecánica, La Pegatina, DJ Neil, Soul Solid, Public Enemy, Ana Curra, Zénit, Natalia Lacunza, and Zahara Rave, among others.
As opening speakers, athlete Pili Peña, an Olympic champion, and the Alcorcón Firefighters have been chosen in recognition of their service. The opening ceremony, on September 3rd at 8 PM in Plaza de España, will kick off the festivities with a starting gun, fireworks, and a performance by the Municipal Band of the Manuel de Falla Music School, followed by a popular dance with the Orquesta La Mundial.
Light will be another highlight, featuring a drone show on September 12th over the Recinto Ferial. Activities will extend beyond the city center to Parque Ondarreta, Torres Bellas, Ensanche Sur, and Los Castillos, offering street theater, circus, storytelling, and puppet shows.
September 8th and 13th will be celebrated as Children's Day with reduced prices on fairground attractions. From 6 PM to 8 PM, attractions will operate without music to accommodate children who require less noise and stimulation. The Seniors' Tent at Parque de la Paz will offer free activities such as dancing, yoga, and workshops.
The festivities will also include sports activities, a Punto Violeta (Violet Point) for enhanced safety, special bus services, and the use of reusable cups, along with measures promoting safe, accessible, sustainable, and violence-free celebrations.
