The city of Alcorcón is hosting the III Training and Employment Fair, a key event for local economic development that offers nearly 500 job opportunities and professional guidance services.

Organized by the Municipal Institute for Employment and Economic Promotion (IMEPE), the fair takes place on April 16 and 17 at the Buero Vallejo Theater. This gathering is consolidating its position as a benchmark in the municipality, facilitating connections between job seekers, students, and the local business community.

The fair will bring together more than 40 companies, training entities, and organizations, offering nearly 500 job opportunities, in addition to advisory and professional guidance services. It is a key meeting point between students, job seekers, and the local business fabric, with the aim of promoting access to work and strengthening the economic development of Alcorcón.

Carlos Carretero, councilor for Employment and Training and president of IMEPE, has highlighted the importance of this initiative for promoting employment in the locality. The event not only aims to offer job positions but also to provide tools and resources to improve the employability of Alcorcón residents.
In parallel, the local newspaper has released its new print edition, which includes topics of interest such as investment in the C-5 line, an analysis of the waste fee, and a profile of the new vice president, Carlos Cuerpo, a resident of Alcorcón. A heartwarming report on the discovery of the landmark of the Marquises of Valderas is also featured.
