The Alcorcón Festivities are presented with a program that goes beyond general events, focusing on decentralization to bring shows and activities to all neighborhoods of the town. Alcorcón's Center will be the starting point of this initiative, combining music, culture, children's activities, and family events between September 3rd and 12th.
The celebration will begin on Thursday, September 3rd at 9:00 PM with the inaugural opening speech in the Plaza Reyes de España. Following the speech, the Orquesta La Mundial will perform a concert to liven up the first festive night.
On Friday, September 4th, the same square will host children's activities, including inflatable castles, available in the morning (11:00 AM to 2:00 PM) and afternoon (6:00 PM to 9:00 PM), designed for the enjoyment of the youngest attendees.
One of the highlights will be the Flamenco Night, scheduled for Wednesday, September 9th at 8:00 PM in the Plaza Reyes de España. This event will bring together various expressions of flamenco with performances by artists such as Gabriela Jiménez (accompanied on guitar by Antón Jiménez), Alfonso Salmerón (with Rafael Andújar on guitar), and María Moreno and Pedro Córdoba, with a full musical accompaniment ensemble.
The program will continue on Friday, September 11th with two events. At 8:00 PM, the family show «La Chica Charcos: Entre col y col una canción» will be presented at the Plaza Reyes de España. Later, at 10:00 PM, the Plaza San Pedro Bautista will be the stage for the show «40 años de Vida» by Oscar Recio.
The closing of the program in Alcorcón Center will take place on Saturday, September 12th at 8:00 PM in the Plaza Reyes de España, with a performance by the Coral Polifónica de Alcorcón and their «Noche en Broadway» show.
