The event, part of the national Musiqueando initiative, aims to strengthen the connection between culture, education, and public spaces. Scheduled for 6 PM, the gathering will unite students, teachers, and families in a collective celebration under the slogan #NosImportaLaMúsica.
“"The participation of our school choirs reflects the work done in classrooms and the role of the educational community in building the city."
According to the Education Councilor, this proposal seeks to bring music beyond the school environment, promoting interaction with citizens and highlighting the importance of public education. The activity is integrated into the ‘Sounds that Embrace’ program, where students explore the ‘perfect sound’ as a symbol of teamwork, performing children's soundtracks that address values such as empathy and friendship.
The Orquesta de Profes por la Pública, composed of nearly 60 teachers from various educational levels, will be one of the main attractions of the concert. This ensemble maintains a close relationship with the town, where it rehearses at IES Josefina Aldecoa and includes several members who teach in the municipality.
The event will conclude with performances by six children's choirs from public centers, including CEIP Fernando de los Ríos, CEIP Daniel Martín, CEIP Agustín de Argüelles, CEIP Bellas Vistas, the Tuknia choir from CEIP Miguel Hernández, and the Manuel de Falla Municipal Music School.
“"Musiqueando is an opportunity for our neighbors to see firsthand the work being done in educational centers. These initiatives help build community and foster pride in public services."
