The celebrations will commence this Friday, June 12th, with the traditional raising of the rainbow flag in the Plaza de España, a symbolic act marking the start of festivities that will extend throughout the month. This event will follow the II LGTB+ Pride March.
The inaugural day will feature an opening speech by Juan Sanguino and a musical performance by Ptazeta, along with other artistic interventions. Prior to this, the III Pride March will traverse the city's streets, starting from the Los Cantos sports center at 7:30 PM, with the participation of batucadas and local dance schools.
The march route will conclude at the City Hall Square, where a participatory flash mob open to all attendees will take place. Subsequently, the rainbow flag will be raised, flying throughout June as a symbol of the city's commitment to diversity.
The musical lineup for the opening day will also include performances by Juacko, Dalma Alke, and Drag Chokolate, completing an offering of entertainment and advocacy for all audiences.
“"It once again positions our city as a benchmark in visibility and commitment to diversity."
