In response to an unusual rise in temperatures, ESMASA has decided to open the water parks in Alcorcón ahead of schedule, offering refreshment and free leisure activities to residents.

The Municipal Services Company of Alcorcón (ESMASA) has advanced the opening of its water parks, reacting to the recent temperature increase recorded in the southern area of Madrid. These facilities, which offer free access, are now operational and provide outdoor leisure spaces with fountains and interactive water games, primarily aimed at children.
Currently, the city features three water parks strategically located in Parque Los Castillos, Polideportivo Los Cantos, and Parque Darwin. These areas are designed for family enjoyment, including shaded zones, benches, tables, and pergolas, in addition to various interactive water elements to combat the heat.
The established opening hours are Monday to Friday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. On weekends, the parks extend their availability, opening both in the morning, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and in the afternoon, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. ESMASA plans to extend these hours once the school year concludes, also incorporating morning openings on weekdays.

"Although summer has not yet begun, we are registering very high temperatures in the south of Madrid and in many other areas of Spain. That is why, from ESMASA, we have taken action and advanced the opening of the water parks, so that our young and not-so-young can cool off in a fun, safe, and free way."
