Families interested in Fuenlabrada's summer camps can apply for a place until May 24. Forms are available in the 'Procedures and services' section of the municipal website. This initiative joins other proposals from the Council, such as Fuenlicolonias and sports campuses, which in previous editions have exceeded 3,000 places.
“"The camps have a dual objective: on the one hand, to ensure that children and adolescents in Fuenlabrada have attractive leisure options with overnight stays away from home and, on the other, to facilitate family reconciliation during the summer months."
The camp program is designed to offer an experience focused on adventure and nature, allowing participants to explore different natural environments and ecosystems. They are organized by age to ensure adapted attention, with proposals for children born between 2014 and 2019, and for teenagers born between 2009 and 2013.
For children, four shifts are offered in Cáceres and Madrid during July. The Vera I and Vera II camps will take place in Cáceres from July 1 to 8 and from July 8 to 15, respectively, for those born between 2014 and 2017. The Granja El Álamo I and Granja El Álamo II camps will be held in Madrid from July 16 to 22 and from July 23 to 30, for those born between 2014 and 2019.
The offer for teenagers, under the Aventura Joven program, is concentrated in three shifts in Cáceres. The Aventura Joven I, II, and III camps will be held from July 1 to 8, from July 8 to 15, and from July 16 to 22, respectively. Additionally, young people with Fuenlisclub or Fuenla Joven cards can benefit from a 20% discount on the camp price.
