The City Council of Ciempozuelos has introduced eAgora, a new free mobile application designed to bring municipal information closer and promote citizen participation.

The tool, available for free download starting today, will allow residents to access relevant information such as schedules, services, official announcements, and the municipality's cultural programming. Additionally, the app features a direct inbox for contacting the council and a function to report incidents, which will be forwarded to the responsible area managers.
Frank García, councilor for Citizen Participation, emphasized the goal of "continuing to foster and promote citizen participation in Ciempozuelos" and that tools like this "help residents feel closer to the City Hall and make communication easier".
The development of this comprehensive platform is the result of months of work between the Citizen Participation and New Technologies departments, led by Luis Pueyo. According to Pueyo, the application is "another example of the effort this government team is making to modernize its municipal services," aiming for an administration that is "closer, more efficient, and adapted to the needs of our residents."
A meeting has been scheduled for the upcoming Thursday, October 22nd, where eAgora representatives and councilor Pueyo will explain the app's functionality to citizens. However, Pueyo highlighted the tool's intuitive and user-friendly nature, requiring users to simply download it, register, search for "Ayuntamiento de Ciempozuelos" in the "discover" tab, and follow the council.
“

"I encourage all residents to join. Providing them with direct communication methods like this demonstrates our commitment to a more open, connected, and people-centered model of public management. Technology thus becomes a tool at the service of the citizenry."
