This Saturday, April 25, the Teatro Buero Vallejo in Alcorcón will host 'Michael's Legacy', a show paying homage to the music and choreographies of Michael Jackson. The production, supported by the Michael Jackson Fan Club in Spain, features a lead performer accompanied by live music and vocals, a band, singers, and a dance troupe.
The lead performer, known as Ximo MJ, has toured national and international stages with his tribute show, bringing to life the tours of the iconic American artist.
In addition to the King of Pop tribute, Alcorcón's cultural agenda includes other offerings. On Friday, April 24, the Teatro Buero Vallejo will present 'No cruces los brazos' (Don't Cross Your Arms), a stand-up comedy monologue by comedian David Cepo, which addresses everyday situations with an accessible and spontaneous style.
On Sunday, April 26, the same Teatro Buero Vallejo will be the venue for the Spring Concert 'The Pleasure of Classics'. The Manuel de Falla Municipal Orchestra of Alcorcón, under the direction of Manuel Haro, will offer a journey through various styles of classical music.
The programming extends to community centers. The Viñagrande Civic Center will host the play 'Herencia por sorpresa' (Surprise Inheritance) on Friday, April 24, a comedy by Botón de Oro Teatro. On Saturday, April 25, the II Diabetes Conference: 'A Day with Diabetes', organized by ADMS, will take place, focusing on dissemination and experience exchange. On Sunday, April 26, the same center will offer the family show 'La fábrica de las maravillas' (The Factory of Wonders), combining theater, music, and circus.
Finally, the Los Pinos Civic Center will be the meeting point on Friday, April 24, for a talk on the Royal Site of La Granja de San Ildefonso, given by an art history graduate, as part of a series on Royal Sites. The city also continues with the Month of Dance, offering free workshops and activities.
