The incident occurred around 7:30 AM, when the 112 Emergency Center received an alert about a crash between the two vehicles at kilometer 31 of the road. The truck driver was unharmed, but the car's occupant was trapped in the wreckage.

Several units from the Community of Madrid Firefighters and Summa 112 medical personnel were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters had to extricate the injured young man, who had sustained a severe head injury and an open fracture in his left leg.

After being stabilized at the scene, the young man was transferred in serious condition to the 12 de Octubre Hospital. The Guardia Civil has launched an investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident.
