A fire that broke out early Tuesday morning completely destroyed a single-story single-family home in Navalcarnero. Five people managed to escape through the windows before emergency services arrived, according to information from Emergencias Comunidad de Madrid.
Community of Madrid Firefighters found the house fully engulfed in flames upon their arrival. They worked to extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading to the adjacent vegetation, a goal they ultimately achieved.
Two of the residents were attended to at the scene by paramedics from SUMMA 112 for minor smoke inhalation. Both were cleared to leave on-site without needing hospital transfer. The 112 confirmed that no other injuries were reported.
The residence has been completely incinerated as a result of the fire. The investigation into the causes of the incident has been taken over by the Guardia Civil.
