The City Council of Cubas de la Sagra, through its Department of Social Services, has formalized the renewal of its collaboration agreement with the Spanish Red Cross. This agreement ensures the continuity of the teleassistance service, a tool considered fundamental for guaranteeing that the elderly, dependent, or vulnerable individuals can remain in their homes with a greater level of safety and autonomy.

The teleassistance service provides continuous support, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It utilizes easy-to-use devices that allow users to request immediate help in case of any emergency or need. Furthermore, this initiative plays a significant role in combating unwanted loneliness and promotes the ability of individuals to remain in their usual environment, fostering their well-being.

The municipal council has emphasized that the renewal of this agreement reaffirms the local administration's commitment to the well-being of all its citizens, with a special focus on those who require specific support to maintain an independent and secure life in their homes.
