The Community of Madrid has announced the upcoming opening of IES Torcuato Fernández Miranda in Arroyomolinos next September, offering 810 places for Secondary and Baccalaureate students.

Construction work on the new educational center, located on Avenida de Islandia, is in its final stages. The Minister of Education, Science, and Universities, Mercedes Zarzalejo, and the mayor of Arroyomolinos, Luis Quiroga, visited the facilities to oversee the progress of the work.
With a total investment of 10.5 million euros, the institute will feature 26 regular classrooms, 10 specific rooms, four breakout rooms, a library, a gymnasium, and two sports courts, expanding educational offerings in the area.

"With this investment effort, the Madrid government is improving the municipality's educational offerings and guaranteeing families' freedom of school choice."
