The subsidy received by the Council is mainly allocated to salary costs (195,066.96 euros) and worker training (7,920 euros). The new hires will reinforce key municipal areas such as public space maintenance, green zone conservation, cleaning, and general services.
Specifically, five masonry assistants, two masonry foremen, two gardeners, one cleaning staff member, and one janitor have been incorporated. All of them will perform their duties for eight months, gaining professional experience while contributing to the maintenance of municipal facilities.
In addition to work activities, participants will receive 90 hours of face-to-face training. Modules include 'Personal and Social Skills for Employment' (40 hours) and 'Environmental Awareness and Good Employment Practices' (50 hours), aimed at facilitating their subsequent entry into the labor market.
This initiative continues the participation of the Perales de Tajuña City Council in employment programs promoted by the Community of Madrid in recent years. Through these calls, the Council has incorporated 44 workers in the last four years.
The Public Employment-Training Program for Professional Activation of 2026 is funded by the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), managed by the Community of Madrid, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Employment and Social Economy.
